My personal digital design of my depiction of a “Bolo Bolo” Witch Healer in James Christensen art style, she has no age, she is immortal, she that has lived with us in the shadows of the forest for billions of years.
The island of Siquijor is a tropical paradise, but beneath its surface lies a dark and ancient history that is shrouded in mystery and terror. Its history dates back thousands of years. It is alleged that a coven of witches lives on the island, and they are said to have supernatural abilities that are beyond the knowledge of mankind. The island is also said to be haunted. When they put their minds to it, they are capable of using their magic for both good and bad purposes, which makes their powers both a blessing and a burden. It is well-known that they can use their magic for either good or evil. In the 1660s, while Spain was still colonizing the region, it was a well-known fact that there were witches living there.
It is said that the witches of Siquijor, who are also known as “Mananambal" and are descended from the “Bolo Bolo” tribe, possess an esoteric understanding of spells and incantations that can either bestow good fortune upon their allies or place a curse on their adversaries. These witches are said to have descended from the “Bolo Bolo” tribe. They have the ability to shape-shift into animals, which enables them to go about their business unseen and perform their rituals in secret without fear of being discovered. It is said that these witches also possess the power to heal, and that they can draw upon their familiarity with herbs and traditional medicine to remedy a wide range of ailments.
But, along with enormous power comes an equally enormous responsibility. It is a widely held belief among the locals of Siquijor that witches on the island attained their abilities through the utilization of unholy and demonic rituals. It is thought that they achieved immortality through the use of prohibited magic, which is why many people are afraid of the consequences that could result from coming into combat with these powerful beings. The following is an account of the Siquijor Witch Healers that was told to us by members of our community who had more life experience than the average person.
As a result of the drought that had befallen the village, the residents of the small, forgotten town that was located on the cursed island of Siquijor were in a difficult situation. It had been predicted for billions of years and told by the “mananambals,” the witch healers, that during the last thousand years of the earth’s dying, as catastrophes started happening, a Keeper would arrive to restore the balance. The villagers were desperate for the foretold savior, as this had been predicted for billions of years and told by the “mananambals,” the witch healers. The harvests had failed, the rivers had run dry, and the villagers were growing increasingly desperate as they waited for the

From the dark depths of their hidden lairs, the Witches of Siquijor convened. Their ancient powers had alerted them to the arrival of a special Keeper on their little island hidden away in Siquijor. The Keeper was said to possess a gift that could unlock the secrets of the universe itself. With a sense of foreboding, the witches emerged from their hiding places and began their journey to the meeting point. They moved silently, their dark-colored cloaks billowing in the wind, their eyes gleaming with an otherworldly light.
As a writer with a desire to explore and record the unique stories of my heritage, I encounter obstacles in pursuing my dream of becoming a full-time author.
I am a devotee of the journalist Graham Hancock, who has devoted his life to discovering our Ancient and Lost Prehistoric Civilizations. His Ancient Apocalypse series on Netflix has inspired me to write about the Philippines, where I was born. I hope to one day travel and promote the 7100 islands full-time, paying tribute to my birthplace, showcasing its history and culture, and receiving sponsorship from Gaia, Netflix, or National Geographic. I still have a full-time job, so I am unable to travel to these remote islands. I also have limited writing instruments, as I use my iPad as my primary writing device.
I am confident that I can overcome these obstacles with your help, advice, and suggestions. If you could point me in the right direction, I would be able to realize this enduring ambition.
I'm so glad you could make it to my Love111 blog! Hello, everyone! I joined Medium in July of 2022 with the pen name Love. My life has been an adventure in learning about myself, and I can't wait to pass forth what I've learned. I left the lower 48 states for Alaska and have since been on a spiritual quest that has brought greater harmony to my body, mind, and spirit. To me, the most important step in discovering what it means to live a happy and meaningful life is learning to treat ourselves and the interconnected cosmos with kindness and compassion. Articles on this site include a wide range of topics, from love and life to spirituality and personal reflection. Each of us has a certain path to follow in this life, and I think we can all benefit from hearing about how others are progressing along theirs. My intention is to build a group of people who are willing to dig into the meat of their lives and relationships in order to find fresh meaning and purpose in their interactions with one another and with the greater cosmos. I hope you find something of value here, whether it be ideas to ponder, advice to implement, or simply a community with which to bond through shared experiences.I appreciate you coming along for the ride, and hope you enjoy my stories.
