Welcome to the Mycelium Chronicles, a record of the rebirth of the 7 Keepers and their mission to protect the one thing that brings life to our universe.

The year is 2024. Humanity faces a dire threat — the universe is dying. We have a thousand years left to prepare.

The boundaries that once safeguarded life on earth for billions of years have been breached, leaving mankind vulnerable, in panic, in chaos, in despair.

But hope still remains. On the solstice of 2024, the 7 Keepers will be reborn, ancient souls reborn from mycelium spores that have been present since the first days of life.

The Keepers are here to protect the one thing that brings life — Mother.

As a writer with a desire to explore and record the unique stories of my heritage, I encounter obstacles in pursuing my dream of becoming a full-time author. I am a devotee of the journalist Graham Hancock, who has devoted his life to discovering our Ancient and Lost Prehistoric Civilizations. His Ancient Apocalypse series on Netflix has inspired me to write about the Philippines, where I was born. I hope to one day travel and promote the 7100 islands full-time, paying tribute to my birthplace, showcasing its history and culture, and receiving sponsorship from Gaia, Netflix, or National Geographic. I still have a full-time job, so I am unable to travel to these remote islands. I also have limited writing instruments, as I use my iPad as my primary writing device. I am confident that I can overcome these obstacles with your help, advice, and suggestions. If you could point me in the right direction, I would be able to realize this enduring ambition.

The Mycelial Chronicles: The Birth of the Protector and the Keepers

Excitement and apprehension filled me as I sat down to write my first work of fiction. The story had been brewing in my mind since I was was a child, ever since I dreamt about the characters and their magical world. I knew I had to share their stories with the world, and I wanted to bring them to life with my digital sketches. As a child growing up in the Philippines, I was always been fascinated by the stories my elders told me. These tales were steeped in our culture and history, and they often carried important life lessons. As I grew older, I realized that many of these stories were in danger of being lost as our society rapidly modernized. This is why I decided to attempt and create this book of fiction. My goal is to preserve the stories that we grew up with and pass them down to the next generation. While some of the tales may be familiar to readers, I hope that others will be new and intriguing. All of them however, carry a piece of our heritage and offer insights into our values and beliefs. I have gathered these stories from various sources, including my own memories from re-occurring dreams, some from family and friends. As I delved deeper into the plot, I found myself lost in the mystical realm I had created. The journey was filled with twists and turns, and I couldn't wait to share it with others. I poured my heart and soul into every page, hoping to evoke emotions and inspire readers. It was a daunting task, but I was ready to take on the challenge and see where the story would take me. I would love your feedback on my first attempt at writing a fiction book.
