I'm so glad you could make it to my Love111 blog! Hello, everyone! I joined Medium in July of 2022 with the pen name Love. My life has been an adventure in learning about myself, and I can't wait to pass forth what I've learned. I left the lower 48 states for Alaska and have since been on a spiritual quest that has brought greater harmony to my body, mind, and spirit. To me, the most important step in discovering what it means to live a happy and meaningful life is learning to treat ourselves and the interconnected cosmos with kindness and compassion. Articles on this site include a wide range of topics, from love and life to spirituality and personal reflection. Each of us has a certain path to follow in this life, and I think we can all benefit from hearing about how others are progressing along theirs. My intention is to build a group of people who are willing to dig into the meat of their lives and relationships in order to find fresh meaning and purpose in their interactions with one another and with the greater cosmos. I hope you find something of value here, whether it be ideas to ponder, advice to implement, or simply a community with which to bond through shared experiences.I appreciate you coming along for the ride, and hope you enjoy my stories.

The Mycelial Chronicles: The Witch Healer of Siquijor, The “Mananambal”
10 Apr, 2023
My personal digital design of my depiction of a “Bolo Bolo” Witch Healer in James Christensen art style, she has no age, she is immortal, she that has lived with us in the shadows of the forest for billions of years.
Beneath the tropical paradise of Siquijor, lies a dark and ancient history shrouded in mystery and fear. It is said that the island is home to a coven of witches who possess supernatural abilities beyond human comprehension. Their powers are both a blessing and a curse, for they are known to wield their magic for both benevolent and malevolent purposes. These rumors about these witches were known during the Spanish colonization during the 1660s.
The witches of Siquijor known as “Mananambal”, healers, from the “Bolo Bolo” tribe, are said to possess arcane knowledge of spells and incantations that can bring good fortune or cast a curse upon their enemies. They possess the ability to shape-shift into animals, allowing them to move undetected and perform their rituals in secret. These witches are also rumored to have the power to heal, using knowledge of herbs and traditional medicine to cure the sick and ailing.
As a writer with a desire to explore and record the unique stories of my heritage, I encounter obstacles in pursuing my dream of becoming a full-time author.
I am a devotee of the journalist Graham Hancock, who has devoted his life to discovering our Ancient and Lost Prehistoric Civilizations. His Ancient Apocalypse series on Netflix has inspired me to write about the Philippines, where I was born. I hope to one day travel and promote the 7100 islands full-time, paying tribute to my birthplace, showcasing its history and culture, and receiving sponsorship from Gaia, Netflix, or National Geographic. I still have a full-time job, so I am unable to travel to these remote islands. I also have limited writing instruments, as I use my iPad as my primary writing device.
I am confident that I can overcome these obstacles with your help, advice, and suggestions. If you could point me in the right direction, I would be able to realize this enduring ambition.
